Description

This introductory session is intended for amateurs who have never practiced throwing.

As soon as you arrive, you will be warmly welcomed by your instructor over tea or coffee. This friendly moment will lend itself to the first presentations and discussions between enthusiasts and amateurs. Your instructor will then teach you how to work the clay to prepare it, then how to set up your lathe and finally how to throw simple shapes, bowls or cylinders. There will be enough time for you to produce your first piece yourself, or two depending on your agility!

At the end of the session, your piece will be fired and enameled and you can collect it from the workshop after about one or two months – you can also, if you wish, book an additional enamelling session to decorate yourself the work you will have done!  You will have the choice between four different colors.
