The Slow Potter workshop is located 27 rue Titon, in the heart of the Faidherbes village and a stone’s throw from Faubourg Saint Antoine, that is to say in the district of Paris where craftsmanship has flourished the most since the 15th century. Rue Titon is also a street steeped in history since it was once home to the “Royal Wallpaper Factory” from which not only the first hot air balloon departed but also, a few years later, the first workers’ movements of the French Revolution started.
Built inside a courtyard, next to a former carpentry shop and a superbly renovated industrial building, the workshop has been fitted out with great care with the help of designers and workers from La Remanufacture located next door. Extremely bright and almost bucolic, it is an ideal place to create, work and exchange between potters and pottery enthusiasts.
Contact us if you would like to privatize the workshop for training, rent it or work there in free workshops.
